WHAT IS COLON HYDROTHERAPY?

WHY COLON CLEANSING

Colon cleansing is a detoxification process. The colon is a muscle. This cleansing process helps exercise and tone the colon. THE PROCESS

The individual lies comfortably on a treatment table as the colon therapist assists the client in inserting a small speculum into the rectum. The therapist then monitors the temperature and pressure of the water going into and out of the colon (large intestine). This method provides a closed system in which waste material is eliminated through the instrument and out of the drain line, avoiding any offensive odor and maintaining the dignity of the individual. The equipment does provide a lighted view tube so that the progress of the elimination can be viewed by both the client and therapist.

Water will be gently infused into the large intestine and released through the elimination line, usually several times within one appointment, allowing the softened, available matter to release.
